day. Our fellow CMS student, Caleb Fairchild
passed away. He was in 8th grade. He was a
nice and very smart kid. He will be missed by
all. He will live in our hearts forever. On March
21st,2016 everybody wore black to recognize
Caleb. Please pray for the friends and family of
Caleb Fairchild. ‘You never know how much
you love somebody until they are actually

Bridges By: Ethan Adams
I think that bridges are important to the roads. Because how
would we get across the water when we are driving. Then if they
aren’t taken care of then we won’t have a way across the water.
Then when it comes to weight limits you should follow them be-
cause if you don’t the bridge might fall. So when they build them
they should build them with very good expectations. So be safe
when it comes to bridges. So what do you think about bridges?
A new movie coming in July 2016 is Ghost-
busters. It is a remake of the original movie. In-
stead of men, the Ghostbusters are women. The
film stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie
Jones and more. However, the movie is currently
unrated. It comes out in theaters in about 4
months. It is said that the film may be a huge box
office success. It may be even bigger than the
first.

The animal of March is A Hedge Hog. I went to the page and
I picked March and the animal for this month is a Hedge
Hog. I think that picking your birth month to see what animal
you got is neat. It kind of tells you if you were an animal

There were two different book clubs this year for the sixth grade.
Book club is a great way for students to read and talk with other stu-
dents. The teachers that hosted the book clubs were Mrs. Ball and
Mrs. Farris. Every night they read and do a job that they chose to do
about what they’ve reading. Then one day that next week they show
their work they did to the other students and talk about what they
did.

Bullying is a HUGE problem in most schools. It is a really touchy subject to
talk about. Some people don’t tell people when they are being bullied. There
are different kinds of bullying like cyber, physical, mental, and some more. I
am here to explain what I think about bullying and this may or may not help
you. So, let’s start with physical bullying it is basically when someone beats
you up A LOT. The problem is if you tell a teacher the bully will get even
worse and beat you up even harder! Cyberbullying is where someone says
mean or threating things to you online. Mental bullying is where a bully calls
you names and tells you REALLY rude things and well, I can’t say them
here (if you know what I mean). If you’re being bullied tell your parents or
teachers secretly they are here to help! Well, that’s all I can say about bully-
ing so that’s it and I hope this helped anyone.
AT our school, CMS these four ways we have tried to stop bullying.
We have the bully box
The teachers will try their best to help
If someone hits you they get in huge trouble
If someone gets in fights a lot they get in OSS

A lot of events are coming up in spring. Like school formals, dances, and a
whole lot more! Parents and students are so busy searching for dresses, ac-
cessories, and the hardest of them all… hairstyles. People are here and there
looking for the perfect one. There are many types. Just choose one! From
Dutch braids to teasing your hair. Even though it is a tiny bit of a struggle.
There are very many to choose from. For Example you have: Dutch braids,
fishtails, teasing, curling, and straightening. Amazing, right? So many to
choose.

Saint Patrick's Day was made an official Christian feast day in
the early 17th century and is observed by the Catholic Church, the
Anglican Communion (especially the Church of Ireland), the East-
ern Orthodox Church, and the Lutheran Church. The day commem-
orates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, and
celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.

The CMS Student Council is currently planning to take a
field trip to the Columbus Zoo and Waterpark this summer. The
student council has worked very hard this school year so it is
only fair that they are rewarded with a spectacular trip to Co-
lumbus. They are leaving June 3rd early in the morning and are
expected to be home by 12:00 AM. The CMS Newspaper Staff
will also be traveling to Columbus Zoo on June 3rd. We hope
that both student council and the newspaper staff will have a
wonderful time!

The 6th grade teacher of the month is Mrs. Christian.
She attended Marshall and achieved her goal of becom-
ing a teacher. She became a teacher to inspire our
youth. Along with being a teacher she enjoys playing
sports and outdoor activities with her family. Her favor-
ite food is tacos, and her favorite movie is Heavy
Weights. When asked why she went to college she re-
plied with, “to become a successful and productive citi-
zen.”

This year’s Presidential Election is a heated rivalry between
Hilary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, John Kasich, Ted Cruz, and
Donald Trump. Clinton is winning the Democrat race. Trump
is winning the Republican race. Many people are hating
against Trump, but still yet there are people against Clinton.
But I don’t understand why people are not hating against the
other people.
