(UK) Glue guard. Prevents glue getting between moving parts during build. Remove after 2 minutes.(FR) Piece de protection contre la colle. pendant l’assemblage, eviter tout depôt de colle sur les pieces en mouvement. Enlever apres 2 minutes. Push all cams to one side and move and glue one at a time above a corresponding key. Vary the position of the flat sides of the No. 12 cams.

Ensure Part No. 32 runs inline with the piano keys and is positioned in front of cam No. 13.

Glue the arms in place so that the fingers are resting on the piano keys.

Glue part No. 45 onto the 11th key from the handle end. When glue is dry check keys either side are not glued to the 11th key.

(21b) Whilst glue is still drying on 3x76mm rod turn the pianist the right way up and carefully turn the handle.The pianist should raise his hands up from the keyboard by about 10mm. Adjust 3x76mm rod in and out of part No 31 to suit.

(21c) Part No 7 is held in position by the 2 spac-ers (part No’s 8). Ensure part No 7 is in position in line with cam 13 before gluing spacers. Part No. 7 should be free to pivot on the 5x114mm rod.

Design CompetitionThe Timberkits Design Competition is your chance to see

your own Timberkits creation in production, win a prize and see your name in print on the box.

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE• Design, build and send in a completed model, which must work smoothly and

efficiently and be of a similar size to our Timberkits range of models• Models must be constructed largely from solid wood, using plywood only if

absolutely necessary• Post your working model to: Timberkits Ltd, The Old Village Hall, Llanbrynmair,

Powys, SY19 7AA marked “Design Competition” before 31st December each year (The competition is held every year). Please remember to include your address for us to contact you and return your model

• The winners and runners up will be announced on our website and contacted at their home address by February 28th each year

• The winning design will become the property of Timberkits, but full credit and publicity will be given to the designer on the kit box

THE PRIZESThe winning design will receive £600 plus their design inproduction with their name accredited on the box. Runners up (up to six) will receive £50 each.
