HABIT

21 days

Page 5: Time management

HABIT 1. Clean your head

Create an inbox

Get all the things, tasks, ideas away from your head

Dont use your brain as a memory card – you can remember around 7 things

Create a system

Iphone - Things, BB, Notepad, Paper notes – you need to have it with you all the time and use head for thinking

Firstly 2-3 hours and clear everything you have

Page 6: Time management

HABIT 2. Define goals and purpose

Why are you doing this things? Why are you working on this exactly?

How does successful project looks like? What is goal of it?

Remind yourself why you are doing this

Find what motivates you:„Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence.

Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.

Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.“

HABIT 3. Go to smaller actions

What is project and what is action?

The method makes you use actions in every project

If you dont have actions in project defined usually

you procrastinate because it is too big

Reminds you of something?

Remind you of your colleges who are sending you

urgent emails?

What does every action mean? How much time for

action and for project? Can I delegate?

Page 8: Time management

HABIT 4. Use context to define actions

Computer, Phone, Office, Jake, Maybe/Sometimes,

Waiting for

Working on the things which are possible for me

now! No stress!

Waiting for – all the delegated things, helps you to

have overview what you delegated

Maybe/Sometimes – Things to do before I die –

yourself and plan your work based on that

Do not plan too many things – have buffers –

always plan rather less – psychology!!!!

During planned work do not take phones, be in

DND, go away – if disturbed 15 min to get back
