IWG’s provide participation in ASME codes and standards development without travel to North America and are recognized standing committees and operate to ASME process and procedures. IWG’s review, provide input, and vote on proposed changes to ASME codes and standard, including changes and additions, and have access to commentary and background documents, which provide insight to the technical basis for code requirements. This Workshop will introduce the IWG concept, benefits, and methods of forming and participating on an IWG in your home country or region.
