Secondly, in which the students have limited digital resources available. Lastly, in which students have digital resources avail- able for the online education T here has been plenty of talk about actor Sushant Singh Rajput's controversial gratitude journal that was posted online by his girl- friend Rhea Chakravarty. While the controversy over who has actually written the journal continues, it has brought the focus on writ- ing gratitude journals. Here's more about this pop- ular concept. WHAT IS IT? A concept widely used by psy- chologists across the world, a gratitude journal is a medium, where you jot down all the things you are grateful for. The idea is to make the person maintaining the jour- nal FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE THINGS IN LIFE. No wonder, it has earned a place as a prominent ap- proach to positive psychology. The maintenance of a gratitude jour- nal is also believed to help re- lieve symptoms of depression and anxiety. WHY IT WORKS... According to clinical psy- chologist, Dr Piya Nandi, journalling can help de- pressed or anxious patients vent their bottled-up feelings, and also feel positive. “When you are journalling your thoughts, there is no one to ar- gue with you or create a road- block. You have a free-flowing mind to pen down your true feelings.” DO YOU HAVE A GRATITUDE JOURNAL? THE ‘SILVER LININGS’ A reference to the concept of grati- tude journalling is made by Anupam Kher’s character (a psychologist) in the 2012 film, 'Silver Linings Playbook'. Staying homeis important

Corona time is rough,The key to survive is to be tough. It has started a new trend,You can not meet, can just call your friend.

I don’t like sitting idle, The life seems to need a revivalThis is temporary, not anyone’s fate,I had not understood life’s beauty till date.

Meeting with friends is also on calls,The fun and laughter is somewhere lost.I miss eating lunch with my gang,Once this pandamic is over we’ll be back with a bang.

Staying home is important and taking precau-tions is the key,Once we fight this virus we’ll soon be free.Once we are safe to be out,We’ll be with our friends and play, laugh and shout.
