    Blood Money

    T i n a B a k e r

    Tinas traits improve for Blood Money as she gains CityStatus. For ease of reference we present here a player sum-mary of all her abilities and an updated character sheet.

    Virtue/Vice: Tinas Virtue is Fortitude. Once per session ofplay, she regains all spent Willpower when she withstandsoverwhelming or tempting pressure to alter her goals. Thisdoes not include temporary distractions from her course ofaction, only pressure that might cause her to abandon orchange her goals altogether. Her Vice is Gluttony. Once perscene, she regains one spent Willpower point if she indulgesin her addiction or appetites at some risk to herself or a lovedone (see Tinas clan weakness, below).

    D i s c i p l i n e s a n d K i n d r e d P o w e r s

    Blood Expenditure: Tina can spend one Vitae per turn.

    Healing: Tina can spend Vitae to heal two points of bash-ing damage or one points of lethal damage. She can do so andact in the same turn.

    Physical Augmentation: Tina can add two dice to any dicepool based on one of her Physical Attributes (Strength, Dex-terity or Stamina) by spending a point of Vitae. This benefitonly lasts until the end of the turn, but she can do so and actin the same turn.

    Celerity : This Discipline allows Tina to boost her speedto preternatural levels. To activate Tinas Celerity, you mustspend one Vitae. Doing so cost Tina an action, but the Disci-pline is then active for the rest of the turn (the Storytellerwill tell you when it wears off). While Celerity is active, any-one attacking Tina suffers a penalty equal to her Celerity rat-ing (1); this penalty is on top of Tinas Defense or other modi-fiers and applies to all attack types. Also, her Speed rating

    increases by itself again for every dot of Celerity as long as theDiscipline is active (so for Tina, her Speed doubles). Notethat you can choose to activate Celerity at any point in theturn, not just when its your turn to act. Doing so before roll-ing Initiative allows you to add Tinas Celerity (1) to her Ini-tiative Modifier. You can also wait to see if anyone attacksTina and activate it before they roll.

    Awe (Majesty ): This power allows Tina a supernaturaldegree of charm; people affected by the power fawn over herand are fascinated by her. They wont take actions that willresult in harm to them, but they will be polite and deferen-tial. For Tina to use this power, roll 6 dice (Tinas Presence +

    Expression + Majesty). If you get more successes than the tar-get has dots of Composure, that person is awed. When you

    make a social roll for Tina to affect that awed person anytimefor the rest of the scene, you gain a bonus equal to the num-ber of successes. Awe can be used against more than one per-son, but you suffer a 1 penalty for affecting two people, and 2 for affecting 3 to 6. Anyone can shake off the effects of Awefor one turn by spending a Willpower point.

    Vigor : This Discipline makes Tina superhumanly strong.Spend one Vitae. For the rest of the scene, Tina adds her Vigor(1) to her Strength (note that boosting Strength directly withVitae lasts for only one turn).

    Clan Weakness (Daeva): Tina was always inclined to drinkand eat a little too much, but as a Daeva vampire, she is aslave to those passions. Any time Tina can indulge her Glut-tony but does not, she loses two points of Willpower.

    M e r i t s

    Barfly: Tina is well versed in getting into clubs withoutwaiting in line. As long as she is appropriately dressed for the

    club in question, she can get in without a wait or much diffi-culty.

    Brawling Dodge: Tina works out every day and practicesfighting at her universitys student recreation center, and sheis especially good at ducking and weaving to avoid getting hitin close combat. If she chooses to dodge in a turn (rather thanstrike) she adds her Brawl rating to her Defense (meaning heropponent subtracts five dice from his attack pool!).

    City Status (): The attention Prince Vidal and AntoineSavoy have paid to Tina and her companions has translatedinto her being recognized as at least marginally importantamong the Damned of New Orleans. When dealing with otherKindred in situations where such recognition could be valu-

    able, Tinas player may add her City Status to attempts toconvince other Kindred.

    Contact: Tina has a friend Dr. Montrose, a history pro-fessor at her university she can call for information. Theymet and became friends when she took his European Historycourse. Tina can call Dr. Montrose to make use of his exten-sive knowledge on European and American history.

    Danger Sense: Tina is used to staying alert in potentiallydangerous situations. This gives her two extra dice on any rollto determine if she is surprised.

    Striking Looks (+1): Tina is athletic and sexy, so she gainsone extra die to any Presence or Manipulation dice pool to

    entertain, seduce, distract or otherwise get her way by usingher looks. Remember, though, that because Tina is attractive,people tend to remember her.
