RESPONDING TO EMAILS
To “Reply” click the left-pointed arrow, or the 3 stacked dots, then “Reply”
To “Reply All”, click the 3 stacked dots, then “Reply All” if there is more than 1 person on the email
To “Forward”, click the 3 stacked dots, then “Forward” to send all the contents to someone
The options are also at the bottom of the email.
When you receive an email from someone you trust, you can reply to them, reply all if there is more than 1 person, or forward the email onto someone else.
CC-ING AND BCC-ING
To “CC” someone means to Carbon Copy them or sending them the exact email you are sending to the email in the “To” field. Be careful, this means that they can see the entire thread as well as the most recent email. Using CC allows everyone to see who is on the email thread.
To “BCC” someone means to Blind Carbon Copy them. They will still see the exact same email thread as if you were “CC”, but the difference is that no one else on the thread will know there is someone being blind copied.
To discard a draft, click the trash can
ATTACHING DOCUMENTS
Be careful not too attach too many or too large documents or you will get an error message that the attachments are too large
“Attaching” a document allows you to send along word documents, photos, videos and more!
Click the paperclip to open a window, search for the document and click “Open” to attach
