Presentation slides are not documents, but visual placeholders. • Use very little text. • Rely heavily on images. • One idea per slide. • Unlike this slide.

For the love of God, don’t use templates.

Use at least 32-point font, and make sure it’s a sans-serif typeface (Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, Gill Sans)

Tips for Speaking• Memorize your presentation (or at

least talking points). • Talk TO the audience. (Don’t stare up

at the slides.)• Breathe. Maintain presence. Pause

rather than “um.”
