TIREMAAX® automatic tire inflation systems provide a basic, responsive approach to help extend tire life and increase fuel efficiency. These patented systems draw from the trailer air supply to keep your trailer tires properly inflated and rolling smoothly.
TIREMAAX comes in two configurations: TIREMAAX EC (Electronic Control) and TIREMAAX CP (Constant Pressure), the difference is the control unit. TIREMAAX EC features an electronic control unit that provides full system programming and monitoring. TIREMAAX CP features a pneumatic pressure regulator and a straight forward mechanical design.
TIREMAAX delivers a reliable, durable approach for maintaining proper inflation levels. The system monitors pressure in all tires and directs air to one or more tires when they dip below the preset level.
The problem of improper tire inflation remains one of the most significant maintenance issues facing the industry today. Studies show that improperly inflated tires can greatly reduce fuel economy and decrease tire life. Incorrect tire inflation may also lead to compromised braking, poor handling and reduced stability.

With just a glance, dual tire pressures can be checked on efficient walk-arounds with the Cat's Eye® Tire Pressure Maintenance System.The Cat's Eye makes it easy to see if your tires are under inflated. This system attaches to the dual's hub or lug bolt and allows air transfer from one tire to the other. Its single airing point fills both tires at once, making the job quick, clean and easy. With just a glance, you'll instantly see changes in tire pressure.The bright yellow "eye" of the Cat's Eye, opens up slightly if dual tire pressure falls 5-6% below the recommended pressure setting. When the eye is completely open, the pressure has dropped 10-12% under the recommended pressure and needs immediate attention. The internal check valve prevents both tires from going flat in the event one tire develops a leak, blows out or when one of the pressure hoses is cut or broken. HOW CROSSFIRE WORKS:
The Crossfire is a pressure equalizing and monitoring valve that is mounted between dual tires. It bolts easily to the lug or hub bolts and is designed to fit on either disc (including aluminum) or spoke wheels. Properly mounted, air freely flows from one tire to the other, maintaining equal tire pressure and load distribution.
