LCS COMPLETE™ TiN KneeFor patients who may be sensitive to standard CoCr prostheses, which contain Nickel, Cobalt and Chromium, DePuy Synthes developed Titanium femoral and tibial components with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating on the articulating surfaces. These components embrace all the features of the LCS COMPLETE™ Total Knee System. Just as the conventional LCS COMPLETE Implants, the TiN is a cementless system and the fixation surfaces are coated with porous coating (POROCOAT™ Porous Coating).

Titanium Nitride is a hard coating applied to Titanium alloy implants to increase resistance to substrate wear. The LCS TiN Femoral Components are provided in 7 sizes (ranging from SM to LG+) with left and right components of each size. The LCS TiN Tibial Components are provided in 7 sizes, ranging from 1 to 7. The implants are designed for use in conjunction with the standard LCS COMPLETE and M.B.T.surgical instrumentation. Many of the surgical instruments are made from Stainless Steel and therefore may contain Nickel and Chromium.

LCS COMPLETE TiN Femoral and Tibial implants are intended for use per IFU-78001132.

This system is compatible with the LCS COMPLETE RP Inserts.
