Some easy questions:
Do you have the permissions to do so?
Is the page what you are looking for or may be better a sub site or a meeting work space?
Do you know in which location you would like to place it?

• Login, first! (See previous chapter)

Creating a page – Note 1
6
• “Site Actions” (in the red circle) appears only when you are logged in.
• It enables you to do any change to a page, or simply to have access to some editing features.
• If you forget how to do some of the things, try to start from there, it is the best starting point.

• The ribbon - Page
Web Editor Training – Chapter 2
• Is dynamic! It changes based on the element of the page you are editing, the number of tabs increases with the number of options you may choose;
• Is very close to the ones of Microsoft Office Suite
Creating a page – Editing 1
14
• Text is just “text”, use it as if you are in word.
• Something to avoid:
• Formatted text copied from Word or PDF, it will bring the formatting and it will look ugly!
• Copy from notepad, wen possible, as notepad has no formatting, it is pure text.
• A work around to point 1 is to copy to notepad, without formatting, save and re-open. Then copy! At this stage you will have by default the right character and colour!
• You can always type by hand!
