Readaboutsomestudentswhohavebeenteachingandpreaching...As we rolled down the road Icouldnthelpbut feelexcitedandnervousaboutwhatlaidahead. Ihad never taught pastors before,much less a pastors seminar.Did I havewhat ittook? Wouldtheybeopento learnfromme? Ileaned forward inmy seat with adetermination to rise up to thechallenge.

Slowly the people came into thebu i l d i ng a s we s e t up ourillustrations. Finally every seatwasfilled.WithoutanycuevoicesfilledtheroomfallingandrisingtoAfricanworship, feet shiftingbackandforth. Thiswasthebeginningto two weeksthat manyofus wouldneverforget.Icannottellyouhowencouragingitwas to hear testimonies from thepastors as we taught the BibleOverviewandtheInductiveMethodduring those two weeks. Threedaysintothefirst weekIrememberonepastorsayingto me,This isthemostprecioustime forme. Iamlearningsomuch. EverynightIgotooneof thechurchesIpastorand I tell them everythingthat Iamlearning. It washardwork,anditwascold.I would wake up early in the

morning, thecoldfingersofwintertouchingmy face, getdressed,andleave for the seminar with myteam.Wewouldteachuntiltwointheafternoon, and then wewouldcome homewith morematerial toprepare for the next day. Iremember some evenings I wouldtake4-5 hours toprepare formynext teaching. It sounds insane,butit was absolutelyworthit.Youcantput a priceon beingapartofGodsplan tochangepeopleslives.

andfeelit wouldbeintimidatingtotry it outandallow God to workthroughyou.HeknowswhyHesset you up for that and you cangrow in confidence and see Godworking through you to empowerother.

With many comments fromchurch leaders Ijust quote from one of the Pastorsspeakingwithpassionfrominnerpartofhisheart.Titus Project outreach has changed my perspectiveabout church andBibleStudy,duringmy outreach thething that stuckmeso muchisthatPastorsandchurchleadersclearlyandopenlytoldus thatthey have neverexperienced thatwayofBibleStudy.Thischallengedme verymuch andIpromisedmyselfwheneverIwillgetjust 45minutes ofBibleteachingIratherteach how tostudy theBibleand leavepeoplewith tools they can use for the rest of their life. Ifyourfellow fisherman lovesyou,hewillnotgiveyoufishbutwillteachyouhow to fish.InTitusProject,this saying makes more sense. People so muchappreciated the tools we gave them instead of justpreachtothemanexcitingmessage.Onemorething,TitusProjecttome isnot justaboutreachingout toothersin thechurchbut reachingoutto myself. Iknow youwill askwhat does it mean!BeforeTituslecturephaseandoutreach,my teaschingwas farpoor but duringoutreach I saw clearly howmanynotes werepoorly prepared.Thiscausedme tostruggleso muchduringmy teachingtime.Now Icanstructure my teaching and make it easier tocommunicate.TitusProject to meisallabout reachingothersaswellasImreachingmyself.TheteachingsprovidedbyTitusProjectaredesperatelyneeded not just in Africa but around the worldespecially this time where everyone want to teachwhateverhe/shewantas longas peoplearelisteningtohim/her.

Godlisten,TanzaniaThe lecture phase of theTitus Project isone of themost beneficial courses I haveevertaken.ThedailyTitusclassesdugattherootofwhat it meansto bea teacherand to lead others in their growth. Ilearned that the heart of the teachermattersaboveallelse;Ineedto loveGod,lovepeople,andmakedisciples. Itis also

important toremember thatit isa huge privilege topartnerwithGodinteachingHisWord!The practical hands-on experience in Titus lecturephasewasas equallychallengingandinspiring!Havingtheopportunitytopreparerealteachingsandsermons,and then present them in front of an audiencewasdifficult, yet100%beneficial. It wasencouragingtoidentify andgrow inmy strengthsasanew teacher,

while also discovering my weaknesses andlearninghowtoovercomethem.Thisshort,threeandahalfweekcoursewould be valuable and profitable toanyone going into any teaching orleadership role.
