1.2 Case Search Page
The case search page has the capability to search cases by Case number, Defendant,
Citation or Date Field. You can also filter your search by case status. Odyssey stores a
history of case numbers for the same case to reflect the change in jurisdiction. This occurs
at TJC in the Criminal Division.
1.2.1 Search by Case Number
To search for a specific case number:
Enter the generated CAPTCHA characters as seen on your screen. (Note, CAPTCHA
characters are re-generated each page load. The page you see can look quite
different than this example:
Choose the “Case” option next to “Search By:”.
Enter the entire case number (which includes case type) in the case number field.
i.e. 07-00043—01-fc.

also optionally choose a sort method:
Press enter, or perform search by clicking the Search Button:
If you know the case number and case type, then leading zeros after the year the
case was filed are not required. Also, dashes are not required.
If complete number is not known, a wild card search can be used. For a “wild card”
search, enter the beginning portion of the case number, followed by an asterisk.
(Leading zeros must be used, i.e. 07000430*). Use of wild card search could bring
up multiple search results.
