PHONE: (972) 562-2601 Alvin Lee Crouch December 11, 1928 - May 17, 2014 Alvin Lee Crouch, age 85 of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away May 17, 2014 in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born December 11, 1928 to Ernest and Alma (Miller) Crouch in Allen, Texas. Alvin married Geraldine Brooks in 1950 in San Francisco, California. He retired from the Marine Corps in 1969 during the Vietnam War. Alvin loved bowling, golfing, fishing, and doing yard work. He is survived by his three daughters, Sharon Sillinger of Fresno, California, Barbara Western of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Patti King and husband Wayne of Dallas, Oregon; son, Michael Crouch and wife Melissa of Edmond, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Melba Joyce Covington and husband Freddie and brother, Harold Crouch. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Alma Crouch and wife Geraldine Crouch. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Allen Cemetery in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held one hour prior to the service at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Memorials Dad was a very special man who showed me loved and welcomed me into this family with open arms. I will truly miss him and think about him everyday.
