Los Angeles-based jewelry designer Rebecca de Ravenel—who broke out onto the fashionscene with her wildly popular Les Bonbons earrings in 2015—is making the move intoready-to-wear. One of Los Angeles’ most-revered institutions, theGetty Center, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.Among the special programming and events takingplace over the next few months is an exhibition ofphotographs by Robert Polidori, on view through May6, who created a series of images of the landmarkRichard Meier-designed museum shortly before itsopening in 1997. “In the 20 years since the GettyCenter opening, the Getty has begun to fulfill itspotential as the world’s largest cultural andphilanthropic organization dedicated to the visualarts,” said Maria Hummer-Tuttle, chair of the GettyBoard of Trustees. “We are able to look around theworld and see the benefits of our research and workon every continent.” GETTY.EDU
