In the aftermath of the floods there is a serious risk to survivors from potentially deadly dis- eases which will spread as a result of contaminated surface and drinking wa- ter. PLAN UK currently have rapid response teams set up in the worst af- fected areas: they are providing bottled water, rations and cooked meals to over 3000 fami- lies.
