• I belong to the Financial Crimes investigators (FCI) Madison Wisconsin. We meet each month to share case experience, discuss scams and crime trends, review the latest bank and credit union crime statistics, receive security procedure updates, briefings from law enforcement, and each month listen to presentations from security and law enforcement professionals.
• I am also a member of the Southeast Wisconsin Homeland Security Partnership. As a member, I attend meetings and work with fellow SWHLS Partnership members to table top test private sector’ emergency response protocols during a crisis in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Madison Area Financial Crime Investigators (FCI) - ContinuedMonthly meetings with speakers12 Hours per year. 30 hours claimed over three years.
• As part of our Risk Management Learning Center community outreach program, I’m an active
member of the Madison Area Financial Crime Investigators, an organization of law enforcement and financial organizations that meet monthly to share criminal investigation files. Each month we have a speaker from appropriate segments of both the public and private sectors. Attendance is required to remain in FCI so I therefore receive at least 12 hours each year of continuing education to keep myself current.
• Membership in FCI also helps keep my private investigator skills current. I also act as our ASIS 067 Liaison with FCI and provide regular updates at our ASIS monthly meetings.
