NON-PROFIT ORG. U.S. Postage PAID Augusta GA Permit #56 Hillcrest Baptist Church 3045 Deans Bridge Rd. Augusta, GA 30906 Return Service Requested Hillcrest Baptist Church exists to glorify God by being and producing spiritually mature disciples of Jesus Christ. A Word from Our Pastor Dear Brothers and Sisters of Hillcrest, In Psalm 116:12-14, the Psalmist says, What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord, I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people. (ESV) As we begin this month of thanks, have you pondered that question in your heart? As you think back on all that God has done in your life over this year, what will your offering of sacrifice and service be in response to Gods goodness? As we gather for Thanksgiving with friends and family, may our words of thanks to God be a refreshing drink to the quenched palates of those with whom we gather who do not know Jesus. May the grace and greatness of our God fill our heads, our hearts, and our speech as a testimony to His glory. A great hymn for us to reflect on during this season is called Praise To The Lord The Almighty. Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, The King of creation! O my soul, praise Him, For He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, Now to His temple draw near; Praise Him in glad adoration. In addition to praising God with our words, Psalm 116 instructs us to fulfill our vows to the Lord. As you think back over promises that you have made to God, are you keeping those vows? Maybe it was a commitment to read the Bible and pray, to share the gospel, to serve God in a specific ministry or role, or to return a certain portion or pledge of Gods resources back to Him as an offering. As I close, I would be remiss if I didn't say how thankful I am to God for His salvation and the ministry of service He has entrusted to me here at Hillcrest. Thanks to each of you for your love, grace, prayers, and encouragement. I am truly blessed by God and thankful for allowing me to serve this faith family. Happy Thanksgiving! disciples of Jesus Christ.

I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord, I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.” (ESV) As we begin this month of thanks, have you pondered that question in your heart? As you think back on all that God has done in your life over this year, what will your offering of sacrifice and service be in response to God’s goodness? As we gather for Thanksgiving with friends and family, may our words of thanks to God be a refreshing drink to the quenched palates of those with whom we gather who do not know Jesus. May the grace and greatness of our God fill our heads, our hearts, and our speech as a testimony to His glory. A great hymn for us to reflect on during this season is called Praise To The Lord The Almighty.
