Duke Power Company is filing herewith Amendment No. Fr to its Applicationfor Licenses for the Oconee Nuclear Station, Unit 1 operating pursuant toFacility Operating License DPR-38, Unit 2 operating pursuant to FacilityOperating License DPR-47, and Unit 3 under construction pursuant toProvisional Construction Permit CPPR-35, by submitting 73 copies ofRevision No. 33 to the Final Safety Analysis Report. Please insert therevised material in the Final Safety Analysis Report by following theattached tabulation identified as FSAR Revision No. 33.

The purpose of Amendment 46 is to revise the proposed Technical Specifi-cations for Units 1, 2, and 3, and to describe changes in the OconeeNuclear Station organization.

As required by Section 2.101 of the Conunission's Regulations, a copy ofthis Amendment No. 46 is being served on Mr. James M. Phinney, GountySupervisor of Oconee Cevity, South Carolina, the county in which thefacility is located.
