To My Customers and Friends

On Saturday October 11, 2014, The Quilted Fox lost our

friend and co-worker, Leslie Clark. In addition to working

at Quilted Fox for 8 years, Leslie always enjoyed garden-

ing, quilting, cooking, holidays and exploring the world.

She was a strong, independent woman who taught us how

to live by how she led her life. Her kindness and grace set

her apart from most, and her dedication to family and her

community is her legacy.

20th Anniversary of The Quilted Fox—January 2015

Trudy Johnson —The Quilted Fox Queen of Kaffe

Twenty years ago on January 2, 1995, Louise Georgia opened a quilt shop. After working someone else’s quilt shop for awhile, she wanted to have a quilt shop that carried the kinds of fabrics that she liked. The Quilted Fox now carries a unique selection of international and contem-porary fabrics. After 20 years, Louise is still bringing to St. Louis unique and very special fabrics. To celebrate the 20th anniversary, the month of January, 2015 will be filled with special events and fun

activities. The party will kick off on January 2, 3rd & 4th with birthday cake, balloons and specials through out the store. Anyone who makes a purchase during the party weekend will be eligible in a drawing for 20% off all purchases of merchandise for a year. Watch our emails for more events and specials throughout the month. Don’t miss this opportunity to help Louise celebrate 20 years of fabulous fabrics and fabulous friendships.

Have you discovered the Kaffe Fassett fabrics? These bright, colorful and bold prints make fabulous quilts that just pop off the wall. They are designed by a group of people for the Westminster/Rowan Fab-ric Company. The lead designer is a man named Kaffe Fassett. Al-though he currently lives in London, he’s a Californian by birth. Trudy is our expert on combining all of these marvelous prints into bold, beautiful and colorful quilts. Watch for Trudy’s classes or come into the shop and let Trudy help you pick out the fabrics to make your own Kaffe Fassett inspired quilt. Fassett has published many books with wonderful patterns. You’ll be sure to find the perfect quilt for your next project.
