The community enterprise network is a group of local people joining together to carry out activities for the benefits of the community enterprises in its network.. What are the benefits from being the community enterprise? o The groups are certified by law. a The assessment of groups' potential is conducted to know their strength and actual needs , thereby enhancing suitable development pian in line with their readiness. a The groups have the rights to gain supports to develop their activities based on their needs and in line with the Committee's criteria.

Objectives of the Community Enterprise Promotion Act B.E. 2548 (2005)

a To promote knowledge and local wisdom, income generation, and mutualassistance

What is "Community Enterprise" ?

what are the non-benefits from not being community enterprise?

I The groups have no legal status.

a The groups are not eligible to receive supports as stated in the Community Enterprise

Promotion Act B.E. 2548 (2005).

Sustainable activities of community enterprise

o Focus on activities which stem from the resources and local wisdom in the

communitYI Produce primary products sufficient for the community's consumption

I Aim at self-reliance, benefits, and happiness in the community

How to get suPPort from the Act?Interested local entrepreneur can apply for registration at the Department of

Agricultural Extension.

What are the requirements?a Form a group consisting of at least seven (7) persons who are not in the same family

t The groups intend to engage in one activity or more'

a The groups cooperate in drawing up community enterprise plan or identify activities

which are in line with the communityplan.

Required documents for registrationFor non-juristic Person

i A letter of authorization signed by no less than a half of the total group members or

a copy of the group's meeting resolution concerning the authorization of person to

apply for registrationI A copy of the authorized person's identification card

a A name list and address of the group members together with the copy of their

identification cards

a A copy of the community enterprise network's regulations (for the registration ofcommunity enterprise network only)

For juristic personA copy of document stated the business' objective

A copy of the name list of the Board

A copy of the resolution of the Board's meeting or that of the General Meeting

conceming the registration appiication

A name list and address of the members

A copy of the community enterprise network's regulations (for the registration of

community enterprise network only)

Registration Process

Receive regishation form

Submit the completed registration form and required documents

Officer examines documents and gives registration card

The registrar examines the application

No objections Announce for seven days

Issue the Registration Certificatetogether with the document of business operation
