For the registration to be successful, the information you enter must match the information that Mercon Benefit Services has on file. For example, if you have moved and did not provide updated contact information to Mercon, you will not be able to continue with registration.

To register with Great-West Life, you will need two pieces of information from your Prescription Drug Benefits card:

1) Your Group Plan Number: is the second set of numbers displayed on your drug card, and will be either 55400 or 163285.

If your prescription drug card displays 055400, enter only 55400 (dropping the leading “0”)

2) Your Member Identification Number: is the third set of numbers displayed on your Prescription Drug Benefits card. If your prescription drug card displays a number beginning with “0” such as 0123456789 in this example, you must enter only 123456789 (dropping the leading “0”).

Enter the information in the required fields in Step 1. During the registration process, you will be asked to choose a User Name and Password for GroupNet. Be sure to record your User Name and Password and keep it in a secure place.

Once the 3 steps are complete, you will be returned to the Sign In page. Enter the User Name and Password that you previously chose.

After signing in, the GroupNet for Plan Members Welcome Page will be displayed:

To submit health and dental claims inline, you will be required to set up Direct Deposit (banking details for deposit of claim payments) and eDetails (electronic notification information).

To set up Direct Deposit, select Your Profile from the tabs displayed at the top of the page. The following page will be displayed:

Select Request for Direct Deposit. A new page will be displayed, requesting your banking information. Enter the required information.

This information will be updated on Great-West Life administration systems in approximately two business days. Once two business days have passed, return to the Great-West Life website and sign in. Open Your Profile.

The Direct Deposit will be displayed as follows:

Select View or Request Changes to Direct Deposit Information to confirm that your bank account information is correct.

Once you have confirmed that your bank account information is correct, please select Set Claim Payment Notifications Preferences and select the method by which you would like Great-West Life to notify you when a claim has been processed. Select your method of notification from the options displayed:

Once you have completed these steps, online claims will be enabled.

To submit a claim online, select Claims from the tabs appearing at the top of the page:

Once the Claims information appears, the Submit a Claim section is displayed about halfway down the page, and appears as follows:

Select Online Claim to proceed with submitting a claim online, and enter the requested information on the pages that follow.
