New and Refurbished Parks in Union City... Enjoy the Outdoors!

Ellsworth Park The park looks beautiful with a lot of new trees, plants and shrubs. We are repairing the play toy closest to Palisade Avenue for our children to enjoy.

Duarte Park The Park has been completely renovated and looks beautiful. I personally chose the new water toys (Pirate Ship and Helicopter) which will be a lot of fun for the children to enjoy.

Police Memorial Park(11th Street) The Park is looking beautiful and has new toys and plants for all to enjoy.

Veterans Park(17th & West) This park is being completely renovated this year and will not be ready until next year 2018.

Children’s Park (24th Street from West Street to Central Avenue) This park has beautiful water features and a basketball court for teenagers located on 24th Street & West Street.

Washington Park Both Passive area with beautiful trees, flowers and shrubs. Palisade Avenue side has beautiful turf football /soccer/baseball fields. When it rains the water is used for the plants and shrubs throughout the park.

Union City Skateboard Park (38th Street Kennedy Blvd to Bergen Turnpike) The park has many new fun features such as ramps, basketball courts etc.

Parque Ellsworth El parque se ve hermoso con varios árboles nuevos, plantas y arbustos. Estamos reparando el juego que estará localizado más cercano a la Avenida Palisade para el disfrute de nuestros niños.

Parque Duarte El parque ha sido completamente renovado y se ve hermoso. Personalmente elegí los nuevos juguetes de agua (barco pirata y helicóptero) que servirán como diversión para los niños que disfruten.

Parque Memorial de la Policía (Calle 11) El Parque es hermoso, tiene juguetes nuevos y plantas para que todos puedan disfrutar.

Parque de Veteranos(Calle West y calle17)Este parque está siendo completamente renovado este año y no estará listo hasta el próximo año 2018.

Parque infantil (Calle 24 entre la Calle West y la Avenida Central)con hermosas características de agua y una cancha de baloncesto para adolescentes ubicados en la calle 24 y la Calle West.

Parque Washington Ambas zonas pasivas tienen hermosos árboles, flores y arbustos. El lado de la Avenida Palisade tiene campos hermosos para fútbol americano / fútbol / béisbol de césped artificial. Cuando llueve el agua se utiliza para las plantas y arbustos en todo el parque.

Pista de patines de Union City (Calle 38 entre Kennedy Blvd y Bergen Turnpike) El parque cuenta con muchas características nuevas divertidas como rampas, canchas de baloncesto, etc.

Columbia Park (45th Street) Children’s park with water spray equipment and other fun climbing toys.

Frank X Clark Park (46th Street Hudson Avenue to Palisade Avenue) The Park has play toys and is lots of fun for the neighborhood children.

Firefighter Memorial Park (9th Street and Palisade Avenue) A great beautiful park with great views and Olympic size outdoor pools with spectacular views of New York City. Also, children can enjoy a pool with toys. Come relax in the gazebo with your neighbors.

Jose Marti Domino Park (41st -42nd Bergenline Avenue to Kennedy Boulevard) We have plans to do major improvements to this nice space. This includes some new lights and a nice granite wall.

Union City/Weehawken Reservoir Walking Trail Located between 20th and 22nd Streets and Palisade Avenue you will find a beautiful walkway/seating area. Here you can enjoy fresh air; great views and relax by the water while getting to know your neighbors. There is 16 acres of open space for you to enjoy.

Sendas peatonales dentro la propiedad del depósito de agua en Union City/Weehawken Ubicado entre las calles 20 y 22 y Palisade Avenue se encuentra una hermosa pasarela / zona para sentarse. Aquí se puede disfrutar de aire fresco; excelentes vistas y relajarse en el agua mientras conoce a sus vecinos. Hay 16 acres de espacio abierto para que usted pueda disfrutar.

Michael Leggiero Children’s Park This Park is great for very young children to enjoy a great atmosphere with water toys/ television with cartoons. There is also a small children’s pool.
