San Diego TrolleyThe Trolley’s Green Line provides frequent service to the Qualcomm Stadium Station, just steps away from Gate K. Three hours before game time, Green Line service increases to every five to seven minutes. There’s increased post-game service too.

Please plan to allow plenty of travel time, especially for week-night games. Fans can park free at many Green Line stations like Santee Trolley Square, Gillespie Field, the El Cajon Transit Center, Old Town, Morena/Linda Vista, Hazard Center (Lower Level only), Grantville and 70th Street. Many Blue and Orange Line stations also have free parking and fans can transfer to a Green Line train at either Old Town or Grossmont Center.

Buy a $5 Day Pass at ticket vending machines before boarding. Staffed ticket booths are open at high-volume stations. Commemorative Day Passes are sold in advance at The Transit Store at First and Broadway, and at the Chargers Team Store at Qualcomm Stadium, Gate G.

COASTER NOW ON SUNDAYS!North County Fans can now COASTER to all Sunday Home Games! Coaster trains depart the Oceanside station Sunday with stops at all stations along the way before arriving at the Old Town Transit Center where fans can transfer to the Trolley Green Line to continue on to Qualcomm Stadium.

The $14 Region Plus Day Pass is sold at all Coaster Ticket Machines and provides round-trip travel on both the COASTER and the San Diego Trolley.

Stadium ParkingThe parking lot at Qualcomm Stadium opens four hours prior to kickoff. Vehicles with pre-purchased parking permits can enter the parking lot five hours prior to kickoff. During capacity events, parking lot rules and tailgating regulations will be strictly enforced. The parking lot can be expected to reach capacity and close up to one hour before kickoff.

Overflow Offsite Paid ParkingRates vary. The Mission City Corporate Center (just west of the Stadium, on 2355 Northside Drive) is within walking distance. Paid parking is also available at San Diego State University, Mission Valley Marriott, and Town & Country Hotel. From these locations purchase a $5 Day Pass for each passenger to ride the Trolley to the Stadium. For additional parking information go to:

Tailgate InformationTailgating is allowed in your parking space only. SDMC 59.0502(a)(6). Reserve a designated parking space in the Tailgate Zone in advance and make it easier to enjoy a full day with food and friends. Spaces can be reserved on a seasonal basis and in advance by calling (619) 281-PARK. A Permit and proof of liability insurance is required for all Tailgates providing catered food and/or a keg. Fans with Disabilities (ADA)There are 252 fully accessible parking stalls located in the inner ring of the parking lot. An additional 97 spaces are designated accessible, but do not have the proper slope. If you require a fully accessible parking space, please arrive at the stadium at least two hours prior to kickoff. Persons who have either a valid accessible placard or a license plate with the International Symbol and proper DMV paperwork, or an MTS/NCTD public transit disabled ID card can park for free.

Ace Parking Management closes the Stadium parking lot when all spaces are full or sold, and only vehicles with pre-purchased parking permits will be admitted. Seat Planners (North San Diego, Riverside and Orange Counties) provides departures from: Plaza Camino Real, La Costa Park & Ride, Birmingham Park & Ride, Escondido Transit Center and Del Lago Park & Ride, Irvine, and Temecula. Carry-InsBottles, cans, coolers, and large bags are prohibited from entering the stadium. Carried items are limited based on a size restriction of 12”x12”x12” and at the discretion of event staff. All carried items are subject to search or may not be admitted. Patrons are allowed to bring food items for personal consumption. Factory-sealed plastic water bottles, half-liter/17oz. or less, limit two per person, are allowed in the stadium.

Cameras & Video Recording Devices for personal use Fans are permitted to bring cameras and video recorders into the stadium, provided they are intended for personal use only, do not interfere with other fans’ view of the game and recorded material does not appear on the internet. The taping of game footage is prohibited. Fans are not permitted to stand in aisles or obstruct others from viewing the game while taking pictures. Tripods, camera stands, and cameras with a telephoto lens longer than 6 inches (detachable or non-detachable) will not be permitted into the stadium.

Selling Tickets The selling of any tickets or any other items on stadium property is strictly prohibited. SDMC59.0502(a).
