The implementation of technology in the school system has been of great concern for most teachers, but only a few schools have access to computer labs where students can go and practice. Those schools that are provided with a lab lack trained personnel to operate it and the time allotted for instruction is limited, which makes the process more complicated

A teacher can incorporate technology in the classroom and have students work with a computer or other technological equipment. One of the major constraints is the lack of enough computers in the classrooms. Another problem is that most teachers are not technology savvy. A teacher can suggest but it is not his or her decision to state what should be included in the curriculum.

I absolutely agree with that statement. It is useless to have new technological equipment and state of the art tools if we don’t know what they are, what their use is and how we can handle them to get the expected results.

I think the biggest problem is that a great percent of teachers lack the skills necessary to work and motivate students when it comes to computer use. New programs are being offered so that teachers get familiar with the use of computers.
