To Whom It May Concern: It is with distinct pleasure that I recommend Adam Alster to you. He has been a valued addition to the Cass Tech faculty since he joined us for the 2009 – 2010 school year as a student teacher. Mr. Alster has had a profound impact both as a person and an educator. I was truly fortunate to have a person of his caliber join the ranks of our high school community. During the year Mr. Alster has developed the unique ability to communicate complex scientific concept to students while cultivating a reassuring learning environment and establishing compassionate yet professional rapport with both students and their families. As a student teacher, Mr. Alster has consistently pursued opportunities of professional growth, as is evident in his participation in professional developments, workshops, parent- teacher conferences which always ultimately have positive impact on the student body at Cass Tech. High School. As a student teacher Mr. Alster has demonstrated generosity of spirit and willingness to share materials and equipments available to him with his colleagues in the science department at Cass Tech. High School. At the end of his internship Adam prepared CDs containing chemical safety precautions, labs, demos, and websites that can be very helpful to our science faculty and presented us.
