E-Bulletin 30 January 2014 @OasisCoulsdon Hall of Names Image from the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum On 27th January, we remember those that were lost in genocides and in the Holocaust, and for those who fought for us. This day is Holocaust Memorial day, which is celebrated in remembrance of all these people, every year, on this same day. The Academy has marked this day of remembrance with a week of Family assemblies presented by Key Stage 4 students and Ms Dadswell. Several students also went on a trip to Croydon Town Hall to represent Oasis Academy Coulsdon at the Croydon Remembrance Service on Monday 27th January 2014. These students, accompanied by Ms John, Mr Richards and Mr Pelling, were Sophie Speed, Natasha Stear, Jessica Hann, Abigail Smart, Daniel Heather, Georgia Poulier, Habeedah Khoyratty, Shantel Jebbison, Laurence Hoyte, Micah Ingram and Matthew Lavelle. Matthew has put together an extremely interesting report on the service which will feature in the half term Newsletter, don’t miss the Spring Term 1 edition to find out more. Today we remember
