Start off with your graphic paper

You will start by “blocking in” the view, or drawing the “invisible box” that you will transfer the three view onto this box. You will create an isometric drawing that should look like this.

Lightly draw the three views “invisible box”.

?- How many squares are there for the views? Refer back to your multiview drawing.

Now let’s draw a coin

Repeat the steps by creating your “invisible box”.

Dimensions should be 6 squares for the front view and 1 square thick.

Remember to….

Always darken in your titleblock’s border.

Always neatly letter your text. Complete the self assessment rubric,

your teacher will double check this. Tomorrow you will draw more

complicated isometric’s but with less instructions just examples shown.

All have companion workbooks with more problems. I recommend using it or any other approved textbook, i.e., if you are ATC or TechPrep and must teach using local colleges textbook.
