Venezuela's economy entered a cycle of "recovery" after the contraction of 2.4% suffered in the second quarter of the year, said on Wednesday the Minister of economy, and a 4% growth is expected for 2012. "Begins to arrest the decline, begins to have recovery," Ali Rodriguez told reporters during a forum at capital University, and indicated that the Government maintains the estimate of "growth 0" for this year.

The Minister said that the Government will make investments in infrastructure, particularly in sectors such as the electricity, where acknowledged that there has been a "backlog" of investment that has affected the strong deficit of electricity generation currently facing the country to stimulate economic growth.
