• Identity is both personal and community

• When we understand who God has made us to be, we can live the life that God has created us to live.

• Gentiles are Non-Jews, or all other ethnicities

• Jews were the people that God set apart for Himself

• Gentiles were outsiders.

• V.14 Through the Cross, Jesus has brought Jews and Gentiles together.

• V.16 the cross is the great equalizer.

• Made one body.

– Local churches are in local areas.

–V.17-18 All of us have a relationship with God through one Holy Spirit.

Together is Better

• V.19-22 Gentiles are no longer spiritual immigrants but citizens.

• We are being built together into a dwelling place where God’s lives though his Spirit.

– Jesus Christ is the cornerstone.

Together is Better

• Be careful when we think our culture or our ethnicity is better than someone else’s.

• We aren’t better, just different.

• Embrace Ethnic Diversity
