1. The essay consistently maintains as its focus knowledge issuesthat are relevant to the prescribed title.

2. Effective links and comparisons between areas of knowledgeand/ or ways of knowing are elaborated so that the essaydemonstrates a sophisticated understanding of the knowledgeissues under consideration.
