Dear parents, The last weeks of Term 4 always provide a range of exciting activities. Many of the activities reward students for attaining behaviour levels. These include BBQs, morning teas and even lunch with the Principal. These are great opportunities to acknowledge the wonderful efforts made by so many of the students. Please encourage your child to continue to demonstrate the school values of Respect, Responsibility and Care and Cooperation every day. Volunteers Morning Tea On Tuesday 8 th December staff will be hosting our annual Volunteers’ Morning Tea. This is an opportunity for the staff to say an enormous thank you to all the volunteers that work within our school and provide so many wonderful opportunities for the students. Invitations will be sent out this week. Please contact the school office staff in regards to the RSVP on 69311263. Christmas Treats A normal part of the lead up to Christmas is children sharing cards and/or treats with each other. At this time I would ask parents to refrain from sending in candy canes as the students often eat them before school and this is not a healthy way to start the day. We certainly encourage Christmas cards. Your support in this area would be appreciated. Narrandera Swim Reward Day On December 7 th , we are holding our final reward day for the year at the Narrandera Lake Talbot complex. This is a chance to acknowledge those students who have continually displayed our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Care and Co-operation and have met our attendance targets. If your child is eligible to attend, they will be receiving a note today. We have subsidised the cost of the day so it is only $5 for the bus trip, entry to the pool and a BBQ lunch. End of year A reminder to all parents that the last day of school this year for K-6 students is on Wednesday 17 th December. Bimbi Preschool students will finish on Tuesday 16 th December. Have a great week. Matthew Gray More photos from last weeks 3/4 Excursion to Borambola! On Wednesday we started our ongoing effort to support Birralee in her recovery, with a mufti day.

The students and staff are continuing to make donations daily, which are being accepted at the front

office. We are continuing our efforts with a ‘guess the number of lollies in the jar’ competition and

next week we will hold a cupcake stall. This weekend Miss Shoemark will visit Birralee in Sydney and

deliver an iPad with educational games to assist in Birralee’s ongoing learning. We would like to thank

you for your generosity and support. It is wonderful when we come together as a community to
