Alaska Hunt Information Alaska Moose hunts take place outside of Dillingham, Alaska. From

Dillingham you will take a charter flight out to the hunting camp. The camp is small but comfortable and dry. You will stay warm and dry in

our extreme weather tents a cot and sleeping pad is provided along with a heated dinning tent.

The hunt starts before sunrise. Breakfast is a small meal of oatmeal, muffins, fruit or cereal bars. Lunch is also provided but taken along on the hunt to maximize time in the field. Dinners consist of Steaks, burgers, pizza’s and other camp style meals.

Most of the Moose hunting is spotting from a high vantage point. Once the bull is spotted stalking and calling will get you into range. Most shots are less then 100 yards. The brush in the area can be thick so we recommend a heavy grained bullet and a larger caliber gun.

Packers will take care of the meat and trophy after the photo’s are taken. You will not have to pack out your own animal. That is unless you want to help.

This Moose hunt has a 90% success rate of bulls 58-70 inches in width. Weather can be a big factor so this is a ten day hunt. With no more then two hunters in camp at one time unless other arrangements are made.

Alaska Hunt Information Continued: Alaska Brown Bear the biggest of the Bears and are hunted only thirty

miles from Dillingham. This area is exclusive to Toman’s Hunting. You will not see another Non-Resident Bear hunter on this ten day hunt.

This hunt has a full service camp with extreme weather tents and heated dining tent, common area, and shower. Meals will be the same as the Moose hunts. From this camp we will spike out in our covered 25 ft boats. This will give us access to the more then 100 miles of river. A small jet boat will get us into the most remote areas and onto big Bears.

You will be met at the Dillingham airport and will travel by boat to the hunt area.

Your guide will be a licensed hunting guide through the State of Alaska. With Brown Bear hunting experience.

Expect to see Bears in the 7 ½ ft to 10 ft range. Skulls measuring from 25-28 inches B&C.

This is the most dangerous big game animal in North America so come prepared with a big gun that you can shoot well. Most shots will be under 200 yards and may involve some brush. Heavy lead and big calibers are recommended.

License and Brown Bear tag is not included on this hunt along with airfare into Dillingham. Transportation from the airport to the hunting camp is included. Only three hunters will be in the camp at one time. This help ensure success on your hunt.

50% deposit at date of booking Cancellation within 5 months of trip

loss of deposit. Within 2 months of trip cost of hunt. Trip is transferable to another hunter.
