We compare social to email. We should be thinking about the use of social as frequently as email.
Great content starts in the ideation phase. If you think about social media as a tactical checkbox at the end of your to-do list, your content will fall flat.
We ran a situational simulation with our social media team and 10 stakeholders including our CMO, CEO and PR. It was a humbling 3 hours but it was so valuable. We exposed some holes in our communication plan. We ended up rewriting about a third of it.
