Job title: Implementation Consultant Department: Technology Salary: Competitive Location: Tokyo Job Description: We are looking for an experienced implementation consultant to join our expanding implementation and deployment team. The candidate will be hard working and motivated with a logical mindset that combines deep analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced customer driven environment. The candidate will have a proven record of business analysis in a post trade environment, and be comfortable installing and configuring complex software on the client site. The candidate will be working as part of a team focused on new client software implementations. Their responsibility will be gather technical requirements and configuring software to meet those requirements, delivering business value through the lifecycle a project. Skills and Aptitude: Experience of installing and configuring complex software at a client site Proven track record of business analysis in a finance/banking environment in the post-trade space Experience of dealing with third party vendors (exchanges / CSDs / regulators etc) Knowledge of Settlement, Accounting and Back Office processes Familiarity with scripting languages (preferably Python) and the Unix command line Knowledge of SQL (Oracle preferred), XML Ability to process and summarise large quantities of technical detail, and learn quickly Good presentation skills Fluent in English and Japanese Eloquent, persuasive and well turned out
