General Overview Greenville Little Leagues is proud to be hosting three major tournaments this summer. First up comes the North Carolina State Tournament for 9-11 year olds. Second comes the Tournament of State Champions for 8-10 year olds. This tournament, which was previously held in Ceredo, WV, will be making its sixth appearance in Greenville. The third major tournament of the summer will be the Tournament of State Champions for 9-11 year olds. This tournament has been held in Greenville since its inception in 2010. Both Tournament of State Champions feature state champion teams from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Greenville is the premier destination for Little League all star tournaments in North Carolina. Based upon the overwhelmingly positive reviews visitors gave Greenville and Elm Street Park in 2018 and previous years a high standard has been established that we hope to maintain. Our commitment is to make it so that every tournament hosted in Greenville is an experience that the families and players will never forget. Based upon the overwhelming positive reviews received in past years we have been able to achieve that goal. We need your help to make this happen. It is our intention to not only treat the families, ballplayers, and coaches the best that we can, we want to make our ball-park the best that it can be for spectators and players. Past tournament sponsorships have paid or helped pay for many of the major additions at Elm Street Park over the past several years. Tournament sponsorships also help provide many amenities to visiting players and their families. Gift packages to the players and an opening night dinner for all of the families are just a few of the neat things provided that are appreciated by all. The three tournaments are expected to have an economic impact of about $750,000 on the city of Greenville. Your sponsorship dollars allow us to host these events which bring hundreds of visitors here and have a positive impact on our city.
