A new year means many things, to us, it means a time to reflect and observe how we were able to positively effect the lives of those who came to us for help. The most glaring thing I see is how GOD has greatly provided for this ministry during some lean months and has brought us some new partnerships for this year. We have been so blessed with our first volunteer to step into a vacant staff position and help us not only with her time, but her love and care for people.. there is a renewed passion with- in our board stepping up to help with daily operational needs and working through our self-evaluation process together. In observing the way so many have sent wonderful notes of support and have included us in their year end giving. I am so deeply thankful for every individual, church, organization, business, and agency that has given of their time, talent and treasures. We see their renewed commitment to partner with us in this great work of serving people. Our true desire is to help the people we serve understand that GOD has made ALL of us in HIS image with a purpose and that they can be the best part of their own success story. As our staff proceeds into 2020 our deep desire is to be imitators of GOD showing HIS love and being a LIGHT in our community and to continue to show compassion to everyone we get the blessing to serve. Ephesians 5:1-2 (1) Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children (2) and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. With a grateful heart to serve together Joe Szeker Director of Operations As we begin a new year, the Board and staff of People to Peo- ple Ministries would like to take the time to reflect on the past year and to thank the many individuals, businesses and organizations who came together to help those in need in our community. We are very grateful to the Wooster Rotary for sponsoring and contributing to the Al Van Wie food drive that they have faithfully administered for many years. The kindness shown by our local school children and their families participating in the food drive who donated and collected food that stocks our food pantry for several months is amazing! We would also like to thank our volunteers and many donors who contributed to the Christmas Toy Project that helped over 500 children receive gifts this Christmas. As we begin a new year, the Board and staff of People to Peo-

WOW.......... Is all I have to say! The donation shed and the out pouring of in-kind donations that we are receiving. We can not thank you enough!

We just want to let all of you in on how we would like to receive donations for clothing room items and houseware items so you know how you can help us be more efficient. Clothing Room Items: We would like all clothing and shoes to be placed in the shed and when bringing here to donate we would like to ask of you (if possible) that your clothing be in small bags (ex: white kitchen trash bags). Thank you! We have a lot of lady volunteers and some bags and boxes are too heavy for anyone to lift. Houseware Items: We would like you to bring these items to the “Red Door” behind shed and ring the doorbell and a volunteer will open it for you to bring in all items other than clothing and shoes. Toys and any other items other than clothing and shoes we ask you to also bring to the “Red Door” behind the shed as well.

Please we also ask... (1) if at all possible that you cleanup and launder all items donated before bringing to us and

to make sure all is lightly used and not worn out. If it is too old and worn out for you then I am pretty positive that it is too worn out for our clients also.

(2) that you do not leave any items outside of our shed or building. If the shed or building is locked during business hours that means we are full to capacity and can not receive any

donations on that day. Please hold on to them or please take and donate to another needing agency. It is not that we do not want your items, because we do, however we only have so much room and volunteers to handle your generosity.

Thank you so much for your generosity, kindness and understanding in this matter.

This has had to be the most magical Christmas out

of the three projects that I have overseen since

starting my position at People To People

Ministries. I have to say that ALL OF YOU are truly

AMAZING, CARING, GENEROUS, AND

GRACIOUS STEWARDS for OUR Wayne County

less fortunate families. Because of all of you, we

were able to give a Christmas morning to 288

families and most importantly to 562 children.

God Bless you all. My heart just is overwhelmed in

knowing what an amazing county that I am a part

of. Thank you to all the volunteers, businesses,

churches, organizations, youth groups, sports

teams, and all you amazing individuals of this

WONDERFUL Wayne County! We could not do

what we do without you! I am looking forward to

serving with you all not only in this new year but

this new decade that we are now entering.

On a side note: Please be praying for us to find a

location to hold our Christmas Project next year.

GOD Bless You All and Happy New Decade!

From the Pantry…..

Once again Thanksgiving was a success, we were able to provide 264 Families with a box of all the fixings for Thanksgiving, plus a turkey. Thanks to Gerber Poultry of Kidron for purchasing our turkeys this year! And thanks to all of the volunteers, including Aspire Energy in the giving of their time to pack the boxes and distribute them! Thanks to many churches, the Rotary, Schools, & other organizations for the generous donations of food from November through December. Our pantry & basement are very well stocked! It’s a great feeling to know we can help people in their time of need.
