3D Game developed by students at AUB
The main goal of the game is to educate people about the use of renewable energy resources, this was inspired by UN millennium goal 7: ensuring environmental sustainability
The game tackles the issue of energy resource depletion
Helps spread awareness in a fun and unique way
Appeals to a wide audience
Project As A Whole
The game uses a unique mechanic: dimension switching
The player can switch between several dimensions in real time, each dimension corresponds to a renewable energy resource
The game is set in a world where energy resources are depleted, thus the player has to use renewable energy resources to solve puzzles and eventually power up the world
As the player progresses through each level, he gains green batteries, which are a physical form of renewable energy resources that the player would eventually use to power up a region
The Game
Developed over a period of 4 months with over 450 hours of work per member
58 classes written in UnrealScript (C++ based) for developing unique gameplay elements and interactive objects in-game

Includes 32 3D textured models with efficient polygon count for better performance, done using Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop
Levels were designed and built using the Unreal Development Kit, with over 1500 UnrealKismet (Visual Scripting) nodes and over 8000 hand-placed Actors (items) per level
