1. PRODUCT OVERVIEW Accessory Leads are used to connect other manufacturer’s equipment to the Touchsafe Pro Call Point to customise the Nursecall system for specific patient needs.
Accessory Leads are simply plugged‐in to the right‐hand socket on the lower face of the Touchsafe Pro Call Point, the leads are available with a range of plugs/sockets to fit most common switches and sensors.
Accessory Leads can be supplied to display the event type on the Nursecall panel as “Call”, “Assistance” or
“Emergency”. Alternatively the Touchsafe Pro Call Point can be re‐programmed to display the most
appropriate event type regardless of the lead supplied ‐ see Section 7 for details.
Any third party equipment connected to a Touchsafe Pro Call Point via an Accessory Lead must have a voltage free, normally open clean contact output which closes on alarm.
