Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary

Bhitarkanika - Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park is known as

the “Mini-Amazon” of India. Lying on the coast of Bay of Bengal, it is the

second largest Mangrove ecosystem of our country after Sundarbans. Dangamal Nature Camp, Habalikhati and Gupti Nature Camps are located inside Bhitarkanika with luxurious accommodations and different choices of cuisine and delicacies. World’s largest congregation of Salt Water Crocodiles are seen in the creeks of Bhitarkanika. Sighting of Crocodiles, Spotted Deers, Wild pigs and thousands of colorful birds including winter migrants from central-Asia and Europe is very common here. Visitors can make night stays in luxurious rooms of Dangamal Nature Camp and avail Boating, birding, trekking etc.

Chilika

Rajhans (Chilika) –Chilika is the largest wintering ground for migratory birds in Asia and during every winter millions of birds visit Chilika. Chilika is also the only place in Asia where Irrawaddy Dolphins can be sighted during boating in the lake. It is the largest brackish water lagoon in Asia. Rajhans Island is a stretch of land separating the majestic Chilika lake from the Bay of Bengal Sea.

Chandaka

Chandaka - Spread over an area of 193.39 Sq.Km on the North-Eastern Ghats is Chandaka- Dampara Wildlife Sanctuary, adjoining the Capital City of Odisha, Bhubaneswar. The Sanctuary is a colourful blend of Semi-Evergreen forest, Bamboo brakes and lush green mixed forests. It is home to different wild animals and birds and the jungle is place for the wild Elephants, which takes the pride of being the Flagship species of this forest. You can see vast stretches of green meadows, tall grasses and waterholes, wildlife moving from one niche to other in the wild from different viewpoints inside the Sanctuary while moving in the Jungle Safari on forest roads.

Chandipur - One of nature's many wonders,at Chandipur the sea recedes for around 5 Kms from the beach everyday twice.
