Winslow, Az. - The Just Cruis'n Car Show will be Oct. 6, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to honor Veterans and Law Enforcement who rose and fell in line of duty. This includes the Navajo and other tribes. It will be at Standing on the Corner park on 2nd Street and Kinsley Street. Charles (Chuck) Edward Bumgarner
7/24/1938 - 9/24/2018Charles (Chuck) Edward Bumgarner, 80, was born July 24,1938 in Winslow, AZ to William Melvin Bumgarner and Mable Elizabeth Lunceford Bumgarner. He entered into rest on September 24, 2018 surrounded by his family. Chuck attended school in Winslow except for 2nd grade and half of 3rd grade, where he attended school in Cottonwood, AZ. While in high school, he played for the Winslow Bulldogs Varsity Football and Basketball teams before graduating in 1956. He attended The University of Arizona, before transferring to AZ State College (NAU), graduating in 1961 with a BS in Accounting.
Chuck worked for the Santa Fe at the age of 16 with permission from his parents. He worked in the stock yards, on trucks out of the freight house, and while in college he worked as a yard checker in Flagstaff. After completing college, he moved to Wyoming working at other various jobs including a logging company and a dude ranch. After returning home, he worked for EI Grand Motors. In 1965, he was a Santa Fe clerk and trucker and in 1966 he was a chain gang
surveyor as well as a drafts man and time keeper. He retired from BNSF as the Budget Manager of the Southwest Division. While working with BNSF he met and fell in love with Teri who also worked for BNSF and they married June 24th, 1980.
At the age of 52, after 36 years with the Santa Fe, he opened his own business (Half Moon Express Services) providing port-a-pots and servicing septic tanks, finally retiring in 2000 at the age of 62. He was a proud member of the Winslow Elks Lodge #536 for 56 years, where he was fondly referred to as “Bummie” by his many friends. He made countless memories that he spoke of and laughed about frequently.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Teri Bumgarner; his sister, Sharon (Richard) Hasten of Alamogordo, NM. His children, Kevin (Angie) Bumgarner of Kansas City, KS; Kacee Bumgarner of Winslow, AZ; Kristi (Frank) Ulibarri of Winslow, AZ; Shelley (Steve) Bumgarner-Baker of Mesa, AZ; Haley McCauley of Winslow, AZ; Randy (Debbie) Bumgarner of Gilbert, AZ; Wendy Bumgarner of Bullhead City, AZ; and niece, Kelley Ahrens of Alamogordo, NM. He was adored by grandson Kavion Bumgarner-Ulibarri and granddaughters KaDee Bumgarner & Kristina Bumgarner, as well as 12 additional grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren whom he loved very much.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Mabel Bumgarner; father, Mel Bumgarner; daughter, Tammy Wojna; nephew, Kurtis Hasten; and nephew, Jim Ahrens.
His Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at the Winslow Elks Lodge #536. Potluck to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Elks National Foundation or Hospice Compassus.

Georgia Ann Foehner7-11-1958 - 8-16-2018
Georgia Ann Foehner, 60, passed away on August 16th, 2018.
Georgia was born to George and Joanna Foehner on July 11, 1958 in Winslow, AZ. She graduated from Winslow High School in 1976. After graduation, Georgia remained in Winslow (except for a short move to California) working in various positions. Over the years she worked at Pizza Pub, State Farm Insurance, Winslow Memorial Hospital, Com-munity Counseling Center, and most recently, Winslow Jr. High School.
She loved playing games, bowling, building legos, and listening to her scanner. She was a big Diamondbacks fan and enjoyed watching the games on TV. She was interested in genealogy and spent time researching the internet for descendant information. Spending time with her family and friends brought her much joy.
Georgia is survived by her sisters, Linda Woern and Sylvia Hartnett (Mike); sister-in-law, Pam Pruitt; nieces and nephews, Derek Knight (Sandra), Joseph Hartnett (Amy), Jason Hartnett (Celeste), Tara Carson (Andrew), Krystal Foehner (Cassie), and Eric Foehner; seven great nephews and one great niece. She is also survived by various other family members. The care of her beloved Dachshund, Poppy, has been entrusted to her wonderful friend, Charley Morehead.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, George and Joanna Foehner, and her brother, Bruce.
A Celebration of Life, honoring Georgia, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on September 28, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Winslow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Animal Trust Fund, 119 E. First St., Winslow, AZ. 86047
