VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK, 595 Calkins Road This park has many recreational facilities available to the public including the Henrietta Recreation Center, Senior Center, amphitheater, 2 playgrounds, softball and soccer fields, Roberts and Bushman cabins, picnic pavilions, outdoor restrooms, basketball and tennis courts, and a walking trail that connects to the Lehigh Valley Trail.
MARTIN ROAD PARK, 1344 Martin Road Features a large playground, Buyck pavilion, outdoor restroom, soccer fields, kick wall, tennis courts, and catch and release fishing pond.
LOOKUP PARK, 3850 East Henrietta Road Amenities include Baldwin Cabin, a 9-hole disc golf short course, golf driving range and dog park. The dog park is self-monitored and is part of the Monroe County Dog Park system. An annual fee will allow you access to dog parks at Lookup Park, Ellison Park, and Greece Canal Park. Registration for the dog park is required and can be done at the Henrietta Town Clerk’s Office. The golf driving range is operated by the Henrietta Foundation. BREESE PARK, 108 Westcombe ParkThis park features beautiful views of the Genesee River and has an accessible stone dust trail that runs alongside the river. The property is home to many types of wild animals and beautiful plants such as bluebell and trillium flowers, native ferns, mushrooms, black walnut trees, etc. Eagle Scout projects such as a pedestrian walking bridge, kiosk, and wildlife observation blind have been completed here.
TINKER NATURE PARK, 1525 Calkins Road Amenities include the Hansen Nature Center, Tinker Homestead and Farm Museum, Tyler Pavilion, small playground,-volleyball court, 2 miles of hiking trails with wetland boardwalks, small amphitheater, gazebo overlooking pond,and the Community Garden Program (registration required).*Please note that dogs are strictly prohibited at Tinker Nature Park
CABIN /PAVILION RESERVATIONS AND FEESBushman Cabin, Roberts Cabin, Baldwin Cabin, and pavilions (Tyler, Buyck, Stevens, and Chase) are available to reserve. All cabins are heated and include restrooms, kitchens with oven/stove, refrigerator, sink, and tables with seating for approximately 50-100 people. Only Baldwin Cabin has central air and an outdoor patio. Cabins and pavilions are available for use from 10:30am to 10:00pm, with the exception of Buyck and Tyler Pavilions, which are available until dusk. Henrietta residents can reserve cabins and pavilions up to 365 days in advance, non-residents up to 335 days in advance.
Reservations must be made in person at the Henrietta Recreation Center or by request online. To make a reservation request online please visit http://parksandrecreation.henrietta.org and click the Parks Facilities tab at the top of the page. A $100 cleaning deposit in the form of a check is due upon key-pickup for all cabins and Tyler Pavilion. If the facility is left in its original condition, your check will be returned to you by mail.

General Information
HENRIETTA RECREATION DEPARTMENT POLICIESThe Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel or change any program due to low enrollment and may limit the size of any program. Additionally, any program may be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen conditions which
may directly impact the quality or safety of the program.
Classes missed because of illness, travel conflicts or personal reasons cannot be made up.
WEATHER RELATED PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS If the Rush-Henrietta School District is closed due to inclement weather condi-tions, ALL Henrietta Recreation Programs that are located in a SCHOOL FACILI-TY are also CANCELLED. If Rush-Henrietta schools close early due to inclement
weather conditions, then Recreation Programs scheduled in the schools are also cancelled. For Henrietta Recreation programs that are NOT located in a Rush-Henrietta School District Facility, please call the Henrietta Recreation
Department (585) 359-2540 or the weather information line at 585-234-1042 for daily updates regarding program cancellations. When possible, program
cancellation information will be communicated to local media. Classes cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances are not eligible for a credit or refund. If possible, make-ups will be scheduled.

PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARDThe Purpose of the Henrietta Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is to advise and assist the Town Board in the preparation of plans and programs for carrying out the functions of the Parks and Recreation Department. The Board also reviews plans and proposals for the acquisition and development of parks and recreation facilities and may be referred to make such recommendations to the Town Board through the Director of Parks and Recreation in connection therewith as deemed appropriate.

Safe PlaceThe Recreation Center is a designated “Safe Place” and is one of nearly 300 stationary and mobile sites throughout Monroe County. Safe Place is a national outreach program assisting youth who are experiencing a crisis situation. In crisis, youth can go to a Safe Place location to access immediate help and services from Center for Youth professionals. REFUND POLICY - PLEASE READ CAREFULLYRefunds are available as noted below unless otherwise stated in the program description. Refunds will be paid by check or account credit, to be used towards programming
or rentals with the Parks and Recreation Department. There is a $10 processing fee for check refunds, but no fee for account credit. Credit Card transactions cannot be reimbursed back to cardholder.
• If a program is canceled by the Town = FULL REFUND• MEDICAL REFUND must be accompanied by note from physician. Refund will be prorated from date of injury/accident.• You may withdraw from a program up to the START DATE of the first class. Boys and girls ages 1 year and up will learn a variety of different gymnastics skills as they progress through our program. Our highly qualified staff will ensure participants develop and perfect gymnastic skills in a safe, logical, progressive manner in addition to stressing learning and safety. The instructors also emphasize having fun.
Fitness Ninja is a gymnastics based strength training program. Gymnastics instructors use fun obstacle courses to train participants on 6 events, including tumbling, bars, wall, conditioning & kicks, trampoline, and vault. Ninja kids is a scaled down version for preschool children.
Adult Supervised Workout is a supervised open gym with a qualified gymnastics coach on hand while you learn or practice traditional gymnastics skills, skills from our Go Ninja program, or general strength & conditioning. Participants have full use of standard gymnastics equipment, a climbing rope, cargo net, tumble track, foam pit, and various shaped blocks and mats.
Tumbling Basics is a structured, progressive tumbling class for all abilities. Beginners will work on rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and walkovers before moving on to round offs, hand springs, and flips. Higher level tumblers can be accommodated, but should contact the director upon registering.

It provides people with the necessary motions and movements to allow them to experience the relaxed aspects of Tai Chi Ch’uan as well as the connections that make Tai Chi a powerful art.
