What is Tracktivity?
Tracktivity is a unique technology service for motor racing venues:
• We manage their event information as a free service
• We build value added services leveraging the information
• Venues promote their events through Tracktivity, together with the value added services
• We charge for the value added services and share revenues with the venues
Why are we doing this?Today, venues (and their visitors) have to use a number of tools, neither of which fully meets their needs…
Venue
Timingsystem
Web
Ticketingsystem
PaperTwitter
SMS
MS Office
Videostream
Google maps
Google calendar
Running ONE event at ONE venue can easily require use of 10 different, disconnected
web or mobile applications with lots of duplication
Venues hate that!
Tracktivity provides one integrated platform for all services and manages
the information for the venues
Why motor sport?
The global motor sport industry as a whole is estimated to be over $300B (based on research by Motorsport Research Associates)
Globally, over 400,000 events take place every year at over 3,000 race tracks
About 200M people list it as an “interest” on their Facebook profile
Because it’s HUGE!
So fragmented, it’s hard to read!Venue directoriesSocial networks
Does not have event management, 140 char limit restrictive for anything but microblogging
Does not allow event promotion outside Facebook. Algorithm determines what shows up in timelines - therefore can’t be used for critical communication
Typically static lists of venues without any other features. No interactive capability and none or very limited mobile presence. Typically very mature UI.
Ticketing systems
They require event information to be managed separately from venues web or Facebook page. Pricing too expensive for low cost events ($5-$15 range) where most motor racing events are priced. Generally perceived to be hard to use (by venues).
Documents/Maps
Highly competent standalone systems but requiring to go to another application - therefore cannot provide a seamless user experience
Event registration
Main focus is driver and vehicle registration, they do little with respect to event management, promotion, ticketing and communication
All of these are basically our competitors in the highly fragmented world of running motor racing events
Here is how we solve itIntegrate fragmented information sources into one cloud platform
Build value added services leveraging the platform and existing information

Venues receive new streams of revenue with no extra effort or investment required from their side - and we share the value
We deliver the basic information to the users for free via a family of connected mobile apps 3
How do we reach people?
We have contact details for most of the active venues around
the world
Our target audience is well defined

Buying a ticket requires a user account - that pulls users into Tracktivity
While costly, it generates lots of brand exposure
Word of mouth is a big driver in a “tight” community of racers
and fans
Users can invite friends from within the app

Where do we go next?
1 Scale up geographically - tracks in existing countries + new territories
2Scale up vertically through addition of new services - associations, clubs, driver & vehicle registration, live timing, video streaming, etc.
3 Scale up to adjacent, similar industries - horse racing, etc.
4 Scale up through derivative, synergistic products - advertising, analytics subscription for businesses, etc.
