Le vignoble vaudois, terroir de tradition et de convivialitéWaadtländer Weinberge im Zeichen von Tradition und Geselligkeit / The vineyards of the Lake Geneva Region, a terroir of tradition and conviviality
The region’s 4,000 hectares of vineyards are divided into six AOCs: La Côte, between Geneva and Lausanne, Chablais in the foothills of the Alps, Côtes-de-l’Orbe, Vully and Bonvillars, red wine soils in the region’s north, as well as Lavaux, famous for its terraced vineyards which form part of the UNESCO World Heritage Program. What better way to discover them than a visit to one or the other wine cellar where an aperitif invariably begins with a glass of Chasselas.

Jura vaudois regional nature parkSet in a region of pastures, the Jura Vaudois regional Nature Park Jura Vaudois takes pride in its dry-stone walls. These constructions are made in the summer months by wall builders who have preserved this ancestral know-how. These walls contain no mortar and may remain intact for centuries.
