Preface

This report presents the participants list, for each training action, concerning the

project BUILD UP Skills FORESEE (IEE/13/BWI 702/SI2.680177) under WP3 -

Training the trainers.

BUILD UP Skills FORESEE project is developing and implementing the preparation

of training material, training actions as well as the development of programs and

training support materials for the implementation of modular qualification

scheme for professionals regarding the Vocational Education and Training (VET)

system, in order to put in practice the priority measures identified on the 2014-

2020 roadmap, delivered in the Build Up Skills I (Portugal). The BUILD UP Skills

FORESEE project has duration of 30 months starting from September 1, 2014.

1. Introduction

The coordination of the WP3, Training the Trainers, was committed to LNEG and

the methodology and materials used in the pilot training courses were based on

the material prepared under WP2, coordinated by ADENE. The set-up of training

actions includes the selection of trainers, preparation of the training actions in

terms of training structures and logistics and including also the subcontracting of

the trainers, in those areas that LNEG and ADENE does not have technical

competences or appropriate installations to develop the practical component.

This deliverable presents nominally the trainees who participated in the training

actions and, in case of the double modules, differentiate who participated in

both or only one of them, according to personal reasons inherent to themselves

(Paragraph 3). If necessary the signed attendance sheets are entirely available.

2. Training actions carried out

2.1 Summary

The training actions for trainees were performed concerning the technical issues

and took place in, Lisbon and Porto, south and north of Portugal, respectively,

according to Table 1, reaching an average of 15 trainees to be trained for each

training action.

Until the first week of July (M23) and since April (M20), were completed 14

actions, seven in Lisbon and seven in Porto. Tables 1 and 2 summarize the

training actions carried out.

The training concerning the Installation and Maintenance of HVAC Systems, for

training the trainees were rescheduled to start in October, because the contents

should be prepared according the Referential for Adult Education and Modular

Training concerning Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. The planned periods for

the carrying out the HVAC training actions, Lisbon and Porto are in the following

table,

More precise information, for each training course, will constitute the deliverables

D.3.3 (Evaluation report of training actions) and D.3.4 (Evaluation report of

training material each technical area).

2.2 Trainees selection

The selection of the trainees was based on expressions of interest received until

24 March, with the participation of LNEG, ADENE and DGEG and by consulting

the trainers of WP3.

To identify those who would attend the training action , the following access

conditions were defined:

i. Priority manifested in the registration form - candidates with indication as

1st priority;

ii. Background education.

iii. Training Aptitude: Pedagogical Skills Certificate (CCP)

iv. Professional experience: if possible 3 years.

After the application of the four conditions and whenever 15 trainees were not

accomplished, the procedure was repeated for those who had placed as 2nd

option. After checking the access conditions was verified the entry order of the

expressions

4. Some Remarks

At the moment, 150 trainees attending the training courses for the ten training

courses under WP3 – Training the Trainees. In the proposal were foreseen for

each theme 30 trainees, 15 in Lisbon and 15 in Porto. The training concerning

the Installation and Maintenance of HVAC Systems, as justified was rescheduled

to October.

In general the trainees pointed out, that the specialized training and certification

of qualifications on energy efficiency, renewable energy systems and in the

construction elements, installation of thermal insulation and windows, is,

nowadays, essential namely to achieve recognition of their professional

competence and abilities in their field of work.

As conclusion these group of action proved the interest for this kind of training

by the trainees participants and also the companies involved in the different

types of action, some of them with and active participation in terms of

equipment, personal and in conclusion for all the different areas these action was

quite successful as will be reported in Deliverable D3.3.
