Requirements

1) Tramigo Manager 3 Installer

http://www.tramigo.net/tramigomanager/TramigoManager-T23.zip or get a copy of Tramigo Manager 3 installer by emailing [email protected] or contact tramigosupport on Skype.

2) .Net Framework 4.0

If unable to install the .Net Framework 4.0, download also

Installation

1. Click on the Tramigo Manager 3 Installer.

2. Wait for the installation to finish. A window for the driver installer will popup to check for T23 drivers installed on the system.

3. If there are no installation errors, you should see dialog below. Click on Finish to exit the installation.

Launch Tramigo Manager 3

1. To launch Tramigo Manager 3, Go to Start > Programs > Tramigo > Tramigo Manager 3 and click on Tramigo Manager 3.

2. Tramigo Manager 3 should open (see screenshot below). If there are error messages on launching Tramigo Manager, please refer to the Troubleshooting section.

Connecting a Tramigo Device

1. Connect a Tramigo device to the computer using a micro USB. 2. If this is the first time a Tramigo device is connected to the computer, you should see an

installation popup.

3. After a successful install the device drivers, launch Tramigo Manager 3 or click Refresh button if it is already open.

If you encounter problems connecting Tramigo device to Tramigo Manager 3, see the Connecting Tramigo Device section of Troubleshooting.

Load Firmware

1. Click on Load Firmware on Tramigo Manager 3.

2. Select a file with .FW or .BIN extension for T23, or .Enc for Pocket. Click on Open.

3. Tramigo Manager 3 will load the Firmware file to the device. Wait for the progress bar to finish. The device will reboot and reconnect to Tramigo Manager 3.

4. When the device is done loading the new firmware, Tramigo Manager 3 will show the device as connected and ready to use.

Loading Landmark / Language File

1. To load Landmarks / Language files, click on the Load Landmarks / Load Language button on Tramigo Manager 3.

2. Select the .LDB (for Landmarks) or .LF (for Language) on the Open File Dialog. Click on Open.

3. Wait until the file is loaded to the T23.

4. After loading the file, Tramigo Manager 3 will show File Transfer Successful message on the logs.

Note: Tramigo Manager 3.1.2 and up also allows selecting up to 3 language files to be loaded to T23.

Load Configuration

1. Click on Load Configuration button to load a configuration file to the Tramigo device. 2. Select a file with .CF extension to be loaded to the device 3. Wait until Tramigo Manager 3 has configured your device using the selected

configuration file.

T23 Support

Loading of Firmware, Landmarks, Language and Configuration and downloading logs is supported by Tramigo Manager 3 for T23.

Pocket Support

Tramigo Manager 3 supports connecting to Tramigo Pocket. Almost all operations for T23 is applicable to Pocket except loading of Language Files. During file transfer, Pocket disconnects from the computer to switch to file transfer mode

and automatically reconnects. Tramigo Manager 3 then starts the file transfer. During file transfer, verify that the pocket is in file transfer mode by checking that the

lights are flashing from red to green.

Following is the procedure in parallel loading Firmware and LD files for Pocket. Parallel loading is useful for loading bulk number of Tramigo devices in the fastest way possible.

Multi-loading T23 devices Connect your T23 devices to Tramigo Manager 3.

Select the first T23 device shown on Tramigo Manager, and Click “Load Multiple Files”. A window will pop up, click on “...” in the Firmware line, and select the FW file to be loaded.

Firmware will be linked in the Firmware line. Next, click on “...” on the Landmark line, and select the Landmark file to be loaded to the units.

Click on “OK”, and the Firmware and Landmark will be loaded to the first selected unit. As the files are being loaded to the first unit, select on the next unit, and click on “Load Multiple Files”

After clicking on “Load Multiple Files”, the same window will pop up, but this time, the Firmware and LD are already linked, only click on “OK” and the Firmware and LD will be automatically loaded to the T23 unit.

Repeat the steps for the remaining units for faster Firmware and LD loading. Note:

Make sure that the Firmware and LD loaded were finished and successful. Check the version response of the device to make sure that files were loaded properly to the device.

You can also add language files and configuration file to the multi-loading process.

Multi-loading Pocket devices Connect Pocket devices to Tramigo Manager 3.

Select the first Pocket device shown on Tramigo Manager, and Click “Load Multiple Files”. A window will pop up, click on “...” in the Firmware line, and select the FW file to be loaded.

Firmware will be linked in the Firmware line. Next, click on “...” on the Landmark line, and select the Landmark file to be loaded to the units.

Click on “OK”, and the Firmware and Landmark will be loaded to the first selected unit. As the files are being loaded to the first unit, select on the next unit, and click on “Load Multiple Files”

After clicking on “Load Multiple Files”, the same window will pop up, but this time, the Firmware and LD are already linked, only click on “OK” and the Firmware and LD will be automatically loaded to the unit.

Loading Language File through TM is not yet available for Pocket. You can also add a configuration file to be added during the multi-loading process.

Application Commands

tm_echo Syntax: tm_echo,<string> Description: Sending tm_echo to Tramigo Manager prints the string to the window and log files. This can be used to print additional notes in CF files. The following CF file results to the output below. CF File: tm_echo,------------------------------------ tm_echo,Version for this device VERSION tm_echo,------------------------------------

tm_delay Syntax: tm_delay,<delay_in_milliseconds> Description: tm_delay is used in CF files to delay sending of the next command for some time. The following CF file sends FIND command after 1 minute. CF File: VERSION STATUS tm_delay,60000 FIND tm_delay,0

Troubleshooting

Installation

If the Tramigo Manager 3 prompts for a missing Microsoft .Net Framework, download the latest .Net framework from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851

Connecting Tramigo Device

If Windows is not detecting a T23 connected to the computer, try any of the following. Run the device driver installer manually by going to Program Files Folder >

Tramigo > Tramigo Manager 3 and click on Tramigo.Manager.Driver.exe. This file will automatically add information the registry to install the device drivers on the machine.

Connect a T23 to the computer. Open Device Manager by going to run and type devmgmt.msc. You should see a Tramigo Device on the Device Manager.

Right click on the TRAMIGO T23 Virtual COM Port, click on Update Driver Software….

On the dialog box, click Browse my computer for driver software. Click the Browse button and go the Program Files Folder > Tramigo Manager 3 >

Drivers and click OK. Click on next and the drivers should start installing.

Tramigo Manager 3

If a device is shows up in red text in Tramigo Manager 3, it means that the IMEI for the device cannot be detected / not available. Tramigo Manager 3 will keep detecting the IMEI. You can still use the device even if it has no IMEI. After a minute or so, the IMEI for the device should become available.
