I – To identify families at risk of vulnerability to psychoative substances consumption

II – To II – To promote individual, parental and family protective factors, through the implementation of the Strengthening Families Program (SFP) III – ToIII – To promote adaptive family processes to manage situations of potential risk through Systemic Family Therapy (SFT)

IV – ToIV – To contribute to the adoption of good practice on prevention of psychoactive substances consumption

IV – ToIV – To contribute to the adoption of good practice on prevention of psychoactive substances consumption

Two useful types of intervention for families with such characteristics!

✓ The importance of a strong investment in the families selection and

screening;

✓ The need for an expanded multidisciplinary team as essential to the

effectiveness of family interventions;

✓ Selective prevention evaluated scientifically should continue to be

a bet for the future, as a way to raise standards of the interventions

quality, in knowledge production and good practice validation.
