Cylindrical Slide Sheets
Sliding a patient or maneuvering a person of limited mobility up or across a bed is one of the most common patient-handling manoeuvers that caregivers/nurses/home-care undertake. Using a cylindrical sheet allows a caregiver to move the patient much more effectively.
In order to minimise injury to both caregiver and end user a slide sheet is used to help slide the end user up or across a surface. This reduces the risk of shearing to the end user’s skin as well as reducing the pushing/pulling activity for the caregiver, which could otherwise result in long term injury.
A slide sheet can also be used for assisting the insertion and retrieval of a sling and is an essential part of a caregiver’s or moving and handling specialist’s/trainer’s kit.
The cylindrical sheet is manufactured from a low friction material which provides gliding properties and reduced shearing forces.
Choosing the correct size of slide sheet is very important, the sheet should be big enough to encompass the end user’s entire body.
If you can’t find the correct size for your patient, then a flat sheet can be used instead, a bigger size must be used with two caregivers assisting with the manoeuvre.

Back and Leg Raiser
The back and leg raiser is used to assist end users into a sitting position when in bed or chair. Specifically designed to reduce pushing and pulling across surfaces which could have potentially damaged skin or put strain on caregivers. Can be used to gently raise the end user into a sitting position by placing the raiser across the shoulders and under the arms for lifting.
Can also be used on either one or both legs together to raise or reposition them to assist with any wound care treatment.
Particularly useful when used in conjunction with a transfer board to position legs when transferring from bed to chair. The raiser is manufactured in a quilted material with a toweling inner lining for additional comfort.

One-Way Slide Sheet
One-way slide sheet is tubular in design, quilted and designed to slide into position then lock; preventing end users from slipping/sliding in chair, wheelchair and bed.
The sheet will only slide in the direction of the arrows but will offer complete grip on the return. This locking mechanic will not diminish during washing. This one-way sheet has been designed to be used on most surfaces including fabric. Tubular one-way slides are particularly suited to chairs, wheel chairs and bed.

Lateral Slide Sheet
Lateral slide sheet featuring a low friction nylon with a silicone coating allowing ease of use. Floor Turning Disc
Hard pivot disc or turning disc is used on the floor or on surfaces where a soft disc would slide. Can be used either for assistance with a standing transfer or un-assisted with a seated transfer. Ideal for homecare, this is an incredibly useful aid especially when used in connection with other transfer aids (patient belts, slide sheets, and transfer boards), aiding caregiver and end user alike. Manufactured using a layer of low fiction material with a central pivot for ease of rotation and non-slip material affixed to the base of the disc.
Used to assist a transfer from a number of scenarios for either those who can stand/bear their body weight but are unable to rotate, pivot or twist their hips or used with feet on the disc whilst sitting to help with the transfer from bed to seat or chair to wheelchair by using the arms to turn the body.
Standing transfer with a pivot disc should be carried out with assistance and caregivers should be fully trained on the correct use of this product, as the caregiver should be controlling the transfer by placing one foot on the disc to turn. When using a turning disc in any situation we would recommend that the end user is fitted with a patient belt.

The Deluxe Patient belt has been manufactured in quilted polyester fabric with a non-slip inner lining and a clunk-click safety buckle. The Deluxe belt has been designed and manufactured to provide a greater degree of support and comfort for those end users who may still be in a ‘recovery’ phase or those und users who have skin integrity issues.

General Safety Grab Belt
The mini patient belt is a standard general gait belt used in rehabilitation and mobility activity.
Patient handling belts were introduced to provide an extra layer of safety to rehabilitation particularly in those end users who can stand, have the ability to bear their own weight but are still a fall risk. Grabbing an end user under the arm or by the clothing in order to prevent a fall could result in many different scenarios not least damaging to the end user and caregiver. Whilst the patient belt is widely used in rehabilitation, they can also be used to promote exercise and mobility. Emergency Transfer Sheet
Emergency Transfer Sheet is used as a fast response to aid a fallen user in tight spaces where a hoist cannot be used. The emergency sheet is used to manually transfer the user to a suitable area where a hoist can be accessed. The sheet has been manufactured using a Silicone coated heavy duty nylon material. Features three handles either side of the sheet.
The full length sheet eases the strain and reduces the risk of injury to both users and caregivers; a minimum of two people are required for safe transfer and caregivers must be trained on emergency sheet evacuations. Ensures low friction and is machine washable.

Bradbury Turner™
The Bradbury Turner enables caregivers to turn a patient onto their side with minimum handling, reducing caregiver injury and reduces tugging/slide friction on users with skin integrity issues. Webbing loops on all four corners of the Bradbury Turner allow the turning device to be attached to a standard spreader bar style hoist from either side of the bed.
The Bradbury Turner is applied under the end user by using two slide sheets. Designed to turn and support the patient on their side without the need for the caregiver to lean over the bed and support the user’s weight. Clunk-click buckle secures to bed frame providing greater safety.
Turning can be carried out either side of the bed without re-inserting the sling. Easy to apply.
