After killing two Autobots and

destroying a Chinese oil refinery,

Shockwave sends his henchman,

Astrotrain, to a secluded forest to

build… something. But a data-stor-

age “brain-unit” malfunctions and

gains sentience, escaping into the

woods and making his way to

Philadelphia. There he comes face-

to-face with Bumblebee, an Autobot

whose vocal processor was dam-

aged in battle, and his friend Sam

Witwicky, reluctant caretaker of

the tiny Cybertronian, Wheelie.

Meanwhile, Autobot leader Optimus

Prime works with the human NEST

squad to track down rogue

Cybertronian technology. They

learn that Starscream has been

trading Transformer-tech to

humans. As Prime and his team try

to track down Starscream, it’s

Shockwave who finds him first…

and violently persuades him to go

after the brain-unit.

But who is Shockwave—and how

did he get to Earth…?
