In 1898, Walter Simmons and Theodore Wellslead a team of seven adventurers to the NorthPole, where they discovered a mechanicalcreature from outer space—a non-biologicalextraterrestrial—frozen in the tundra. The groupwas attacked by another, similar creature. Thesecond alien was defeated, though one ofhumans died in the effort.
